Cute is good for self-pity

I have absolutely no use for this, but it does make me smile. That could be a use in and of itself.

And of course, there are baby showers and little kid birthdays...

I agree, I would have no other use for it except for its cuteness factor. It would ALWAYS make me smile.

Personally, I think having something that makes you smile it the Most important use. Mind you, if it can be utilitarian and make you smile, all the better. But still...And if you give it away to a little kid for birthday or a baby shower, they won't appreciate it nearly as much. >:) Nope, keep it. Let it make you smile. I have a ceramic giraffe that's blue with green dots. Her whole purpose in life is to make me smile. Hope you're feeling better. If not, dance with you penguin to surprisingly good French hip hop!

'Cute' lifts the spirits - it makes us smile on those days when a smile is hard to find. Me - I prefer my cute and adorable to come in fuzzy packages with whiskers - but anything is cute that elicits happy thoughts!
