Wow, what a colon-clutcher of a day!!!!
North Korea launched their nukes, which thankfully seem to be junky. I can't stand having to worry about the mindstate of megalomaniacs whom I've never even met, you know that? It's made me appreciate that the craziest people can just ruin your life like *that*.
And then Ken Lay died. My sympathy well is dry for him and his family--the people whose livelihoods he destroyed have to go on living with the consequences.
And then there is the anticipated SSM decision in the New York State Supreme Court this week. Talk about nail-biter!!! Decision didn't come today. It's supposed to tomorrow. I don't have fingernails left. I'm going to have to go to my toes.
I hope to be planning a re-wedding, even though I'll have to start biting L'Ailee's nails if we end up doing that! Everyone wants to go already! A lot of people missed it in Massachusetts.
With all this, I ended up having a great conversation about open versus closed kitchens today, and then taking it to webforums. I do not like an open kitchen. I want to be left alone. If I wanted help, I'd have hired help--instead, I invite guests. Some of our guests thought that was unfriendly last night. I said something vague about how critical my mother was when I'd try to cook, but really, I just like lots of room and a bit of privacy in *my* kitchen.
And I discovered know-it-all heaven this week: Yahoo! Answers There are idiots there, but it's so much fun to talk about *everything*. Here's my Q&A, with my cute summery avatar. They don't have chubby avatars, I've noticed.
Thomas Jefferson was not a Christian Nationalist!
Take this, Roman candle nannies!
Banning manimals. Seriously.
And from Larknews.com: A little too much pastoral accountability! (It's like the Onion's religion section.)
