Second day of the strike, first day of winter

Happy Winter Solstice to all! Even if you don't make a celebration of it, it *is* the first day of winter and all that.

I don't feel celebratory, though. If L'Ailee hurts, I hurt. Right now she is hurting because her aunt and grandma in Siberia are near severely polluted water. My poor babycita has clammed up. They refused to leave. :-( Then again, their government wasn't helping them. She doesn't communicate with them much, but it hurts her heart that this is happening to the place where she came from.

And then there is the strike.

We ended up sharing a cab with another couple and a single woman who banged on the window while we were in traffic.

I will have to promise a hummer if the strike goes on next week. Our cabbie friend is getting an Xbox for him and his little girl, with several games. He can afford it.

I hope the MTA "workers" get anal herpes that never goes away.

I love the judge who is fining the union a million dollars a day. They deserve to lose money, too.

We are at half staff. TTG most of our paperwork is done.

One of L'Ailee's classes is cancelled today. She is paid by the class, too.

Can't stand them...

I HATE unions!

There I said it.

I know it's not PC, but I do hate them and I always have.

Norma Rae, my ass.

Gosh darn it, I hope it gets better before it gets worse.

Off topic...but I do wish you and yours a delightful holiday.

Honest, I do!

Nothing but Love for YOU, Ms. Lilo!
