Meanwhile, back home...

I'm in a ready-to-cry mood anyway (just stupid little things crossed with PMS, no real distress, y'all.) And this doesn't help. The bastards are crowing. I wanted to get married at home so bad, in the Ocala National Forest, where I was conceived, and I got so upset when I saw Massachussetts for the first time and realized I couldn't get married anyplace familiar. I don't have a witty rebuttal, just a whined-out "Why are they so *mean*? WHY?"

Goddamn it!!!!

I'm so sorry, Cracker. *HUG* Since I can't imagine getting married anywhere other than Massachusetts, I'm thinking about how it would feel to not be able to and it's awful. WAAAAAA!!!!
Just 'cause it seems like you need more than one.

i think i would have been devistated if i couldn't have been married in the church i wanted to be in.

we should throw you a blog-wedding! (not sure what that is... since i just made it up)

no matter where you exchange vows what is important is how you live them out with one another.

still, i get that you want it to happen in a special place... my guess is that they way you two feel about one another will make anyplace special.

Someday their great grandchildren are going to look back and think how screwed up and backwards they all were, just like we look back on slavery now. I truly hope it isn't that long!

Days like this I wish the communists hadn't decided to become capitalists!

Don't cry, Cracker, don't cry!

Come on over for a bite to eat and we can cry together. Better yet, I will come over to your place to use your washer and dryer!

I hope thats true, the idea of looking back at how damned backwards people are and maybe having future generations being shocked by it. I never heard of a blog wedding but I know someone who got married over the internet and everyone was able to watch it live- relatives etc. from all around.

I'm sorry that you are sad and dissappointed. Just not right.

It is upsetting to learn of such restrictions. Love is love.

I'm sorry, sweetie. This is just so wrong. I don't know how to get through to people to stop being such bigoted, homophobic assholes.

What in the world did you expect from the great state of Florida?

Until we get rid of the white, middle aged fundamental christian and catholic republican males that are so obsessed with running (ruining) our lives, nothing is gonna change my dear.

We just have to keep fighting!
